Choctaw Construction Services, LLC. is a Houston area-based railroad services contractor, our approach is to provide safe, reliable and quality oriented services for railroad industries. Choctaw Construction Service's fleet of equipment is designed to perform all the various services that are crucial for the project at hand.

Much of our equipment falls in the category of standard heavy pieces used for multiple types of work. However, some projects require highly specialized equipment, engineered to perform very specific tasks. Our fleet includes an assortment of these specialized pieces of equipment, allowing us to perform even the most unique contractor services.

UPRR Gila Shoulder Retention Project - Yuma, AZ


  • February 2025
  • Constructed a bench at the upper portion of the curve, lined with Class 2 Rip Rap for slope protection
  • Shifted existing track 9 inches onto the new fill
  • Placed ballast in all areas prior to the track alignment shift

Brazos River Bank Stabilization - Sugarland, TX


  • January 2025
  • 13,000 SY of 12” lime stabilization
  • 13,000 SY of 6” road paving
  • Constructed new asphalt parking lot, sidewalk, and a staircase structure for improved access
  • Installed sidewalks, removed and repaired existing pavement

  • December 2024
  • Removed and properly disposed of existing concrete
  • Embedded new rail to enhance track stability
  • Installed fresh concrete to support upgraded railroad infrastructure

Port Laredo Yard Drainage Improvements Project - Laredo, TX


  • November 2024
  • Installed stormwater BMPs as required
  • Installed 720 LF of 30º SSP storm drains
  • Installed 5,200 LF of 8º perforated HDPE pipe
  • Undercut 600 LF of track, removed and replaced fouled ballast

  • October 2024
  • 25,000 CY of cut and fill
  • 21,000 SY of 8' lime-stabilized subgrade
  • 21,000 SY of 8' cement-treated base installation
  • 2,000 LF of storm drainage, including 6 manholes and 2 junction boxes
  • 8,000 SY of site-concrete paving

Retaining Wall Project - Fort Smith, LA


  • July 2024
  • Developed a cost-effective erosion control plan to protect the railroad track
  • Repurposed out-of-service materials to meet project needs
  • Installed old rail 20 feet into the ground using an excavator
  • Secured concrete bridge caps with drilled-in anchors for added stability
  • Cleared and restored existing waterways after structural repairs

  • October 2022
  • Provided access for bridge installation
  • Excavation and embankment of 21,000 cubic yards
  • Installed 9500 tons of limestone base
  • Installed 5500 tons of granite ballast
  • Removed 2100 ft of track panels
  • Placed 51 40 ft. track panels
  • All work performed within a 30-hour work window

  • Clearing and grubbing over 20 acres
  • Excavation and embankment of 10,800 cubic yards
  • Installed 48,000 sq. yards of soil cement stabilization

  • Installed 14,000 track feet of new track construction
  • Built and installed 2 #20 turnouts
